Intimate City Wedding - Toronto Wedding Photographer

It’s hard to imagine such an imitate wedding in the middle of the biggest city in Canada, but Anthony and Amber pulled it off. Surrounded by only their closest friends and family they wed this summer on the rooftop patio of the Chase. These two managed to create a day that was both intimate and elegant with champagne, a tux, a shimmering gown and their mother’s blessing their rings while skyscrapers looked on.

Their first look was done outside their apartment building at 8:30am, along with some portraits just in the car park. It’s amazing what a bit of foliage and the right light can turn into! From there we all took an Uber to the Chase and shot more portraits on the street. Then their ceremony began, led by the lovely Mary Montanari. A rose petal exit saw them out, followed by cocktails and portraits with their guests. The nice thing about small weddings, I think, is you have the time to get a photo with every person you’ve invited!

This wedding was a dream to photograph and working with these two was a pleasure. Cheers to the newlyweds!

Family Adventure in Peggy's Cove

This past summer I had the pleasure of going down to Nova Scotia to shoot a family adventure in Peggy’s Cove with Rebecca off Wee Three Sparrows. It was such a lovely time working with her and her gorgeous family! Are her four girls not just the sweetest? We were also blessed with an amazing sunset on this day, when it was meant to be storming all evening! In fact, I had great weather the whole week I was down. If you are ever in the mood for an adventure, I am always in the mood to come document it!

Gorgeous Tented Wedding in Fergus, Ontario

I woke up the the kindest email from one of my July couples today. It gave me that extra little kick I needed this week to get my butt in gear and post on the journal. But mostly it just made me remember why I love my job so dearly and why I do what I do.

A Long Expected Party | Intimate Farm Wedding

While I am always so honoured and thrilled to photograph anyone’s wedding, Emma and Cameron’s wedding was something special. As the touching speeches gave testament to, these two have been together since they were about 14. This Intimate Farm Wedding was something out of a fairytale, complete with a horse drawn carriage and sparkling lights everywhere. We shot a mix of film (Fuji 400H processed and scanned by the one and only PhotoVision Prints) and digital (Refined x Caroline Tran presets)! I hope you all enjoy the results as much as I do - I’ve gone their gallery maybe half a dozen times since finishing it!

Meag + Tyler | At Home Engagement Inspiration

Okay. I’m here, yet again, to tell you how much I love in-home sessions. However, this session is not really “in-home”. It’s at my studio right here in Hamilton! I love being able to shoot couples and families in this homey studio because it gives all the intimate feeling of being at home but in a space that is seriously made to be photographed. Sometimes our homes aren’t so tidy - hey, mine isn’t. And sometimes we don’t have the best light - hello, all my plants are dead. So this is the perfect compromise! If you’re interested in a studio session with me, you can email me to set something up!
